On Wednesday morning, Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief of Republic TV, was arrested by the Mumbai Police.
Hearing this news, a wave of anger raged among Arnab’s loved ones. Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has also given her response.
She wrote a tweet supporting Arnab on social media which is as follows:

Apart from this tweet, Kangana has also posted a video. In this video, she is asking the Maharashtra government the question, “Today you went to Arnab Goswami’s house and assaulted him. How many houses will you break? How many voices will you shut? Sonia Sena, how many mouths will you silence? For your information, let us tell you that Arnab Goswami was arrested by Maharashtra CID in connection with the death of interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother Kumud Naik in 2018. He is accused of abetting them to commit suicide.
At the same time, Arnab alleges that his father-in-law, mother-in-law, son and wife have been manhandled by the Mumbai Police. A video is also playing on Republic TV claiming that the police misbehaved with them.

In May 2018, 53-year-old interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother Kumud Naik committed suicide in Alibaug. After this, the police received a suicide note, in which Anvay allegedly accused Arnab Goswami and two others that they had not paid him Rs 5.40 crore, due to which he was going through financial crisis.
