Once Nita Ambani had told in one of her interviews that when her three children Akash, Anant and Isha went to school, they were given such a less amount of pocket money that their classmates used to make fun of them.
Nita says, ‘Children should stay down to earth’
Mukesh and Nita Ambani have always taught their children to respect people, as well as to understand their duties and to do their own work. Mukesh Ambani always tries to teach his children to respect moral values and money and not spend money unnecessarily. This is the reason why Mukesh and Neeta used to give their children only 5 rupees as pocket money.
Nita said that one day Anant had so little pocket money that one of his friends said, “are you Ambani or a beggar”. Despite being the children of the wealthiest person of the country, Akash, Anant and Isha have been brought up to be always down to earth.
Let us tell you that Nita Ambani herself comes from a middle class family in Mumbai and was raised in a disciplined family. Nita did not even get permission to go out of her house. At the same time during her school and college days, she used to commute by local trains and buses of Mumbai. Nita Ambani aspired to become a teacher. But luck turned in such a way that she became the wife of the wealthiest person in the country.
It is said that after marriage, Nita used to make her children do their homework all by herself. Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani made lot of efforts to make sure that their children don’t get spoilt by such huge wealth.
